Al Anon
Family group meetings are held every Wednesday, 10:30am-11:30am, at the Christian Life Centre, 120 Commercial Road, Helensville. For anyone concerned by someone's drinking.

Art Fuel
Every second Tuesday of the month, 7pm-8.30pm, at the Art Centre, Karaka Street, Helensville. Gold coin donation.
A relaxed chat group covering everything from personal critique, how to use various media, art history and what's current, overcoming mental blocks and self doubt, taking it from hobby to more professional and more. Enjoy a hot drink (and baking if you're lucky), ask questions, discuss answers.

Helensville Aglow
An interdenominational Christian meeting with excellent speakers. Meets at the Helensville War Memorial Hall on the first Friday of the month at 7.30pm to 9.00pm. Contact: Yvonne, email: yvonne@hello.net.nz

Helensville River Valley Country Music Club
Club meets at the Helensville War Memorial Hall from 1pm to 4pm on the 3rd Sunday of the month. Afternoon tea provided. $3 entry.

Helensville Mainly Music Pre-school music sessions
Pre-school music session, 9:30am to 11.30am Tuesdays during school terms, at River Valley Baptist Church, 1 Fordyce Road, Parakai. A time to enjoy music, rhyme and movement with your childen for 30 minutes. These sessions are designed to help the children develop skills - co-ordination, fine motor movements, large motor movement and social interaction. The adults participate in the session, encouraging their children to enter into the actions and singing. Cost $2 per family, morning tea provided.

Helensville Variety Music Evening

Hot Pool Exercise Class
Every Tuesday, 8.30am - 9.30am at Parakai Springs. Cost: $6 Pool Entrance, $5 for the class
Sore muscles?  Stiff Joints?  Not as flexible as you used to be?  Arthritis sufferer?  Join our small class of mature ladies - you will feel better and enjoy meeting others.  Bring water bottle, change of clothes, a towel.  Its fun and beneficial.  Class runs all year.

Waimauku RSA Market Day
Last Sunday of every month, 10am til 2pm at the Waimauku RSA, 891 State Highway 16, Waimauku. Stalls $10, inside and outside avaliable. All fees donated to
the RSA's building fund. New and used goods, food and bar. Free Entry to all public and free parking. Note: The market is not held in December and January.

Chill in the Ville
Saturday, 7th December. At the Original Kaipara Tavern, Commercial Road. from 4pm to 10pm. Six hours of live music featuring local artists including Jimmy Christmas from the D4. Food truck on site. Tickets $40 from Helensville Super Liquor or River Valley Meats.

Christmas Market and Santa Parade
Sunday, 15th December. At Helensville Showgrounds, market runs 8.30am to 3pm, Santa Parade around the racetrack at midday. Free parking, food, stalls, lolly scramble.

Blood Donations
Monday, 23rd December. Midday to 6pm at Helensville Community Church, 40 Mill Rd. Contact NZ Blood, 0800 448 325 to book an appointment.

Waitemata Hunt 75th Anniversary Celebration
Wednesday, 19th March to Sunday, 23rd March, 2025. Based at the Helensville Showgrounds, there will be events around the local area, including Hunter Trials at the Showgrounds on Friday, 21st March.
